Instructions to login
- Be sure you are on your OWN 1000 Moms website.
- Click on the LOGIN link in the bottom left corner
- Enter the email address associated with your site
- Enter the password you entered when setting up your site.
- Click "continue" once you have logged in.
- Be SURE to enter your ineways site. If you haven’t set one up yet, visit the Neways back office at neways.com/usa
- (optional) Enter your Neways ID# and retail ID# (click on ‘edit’ to enter the info), and make any other preference selections you’d like. See below for more details.
Once you’ve logged in – here are the some of the options:
- There are 2 different fields for phone numbers. You can display your phone on the top of your site or not by clicking on click on "show" or"hide"
- The 2nd line probably says "empty" – that is for a 2nd phone number if you want to list one.
- Email is the email address that you use to login, and that all the contact form information will come to. Avoid hotmail or msn addresses, or you may not get your mail.
- Preferred Customer - option to display a message saying "Ask me about our Preferred Customer program"
If "shown" you’ll see this link on the "get started page" as well as on all the shopping cart pages (left column). - Enter your Neways ID# and your Retail ID# (optional) if you don’t have one of these, call distributor relations at 1-800-998-7232 and get one
- Splash page - You can choose to set the splash page as your default – BUT I DON’T RECOMMEND IT.
- ineways info. Just enter the name for your ineways site. If entered correctly it will look like: yourname.ineways.com
- Add an "About me" paragraph if you like. You can work on this til you like it, and then click "show" for it to override the default. If you would like it broken into more than one paragraph (a good idea if it is very long), put the following code BETWEEN each:

- Upload a photo if you like . do NOT upload any photo that is taller than about 175px. Check the size before you upload. If you have a large photo and don’t know how to shrink it, try this handy online tool: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ Choose the custom setting, and make it for no more than 175px for the longest edge. "Better" quality should be sufficient.
What is the Splash Page?
The "splash page" is one you can use to gather name/email from your prospects BEFORE they get to the home page of your site. It requires them to "sign your guestbook"
(enter their name and email address in a form) before they can continue. Once they do, it takes them to your home page, and you receive an email with the prospect’s name and email address.
Their info will NOT be entered into any autoresponder, they will not receive any email when they do this. It just allows them access to your site, while you get their name/email. Then you can follow up with them later in the day, drop them a friendly note, etc. We will be posting some ideas for email content you can use to follow up.
The recommended use for the splash page is in advertising. Instead of linking your ad to http://1000moms1000dollars.com/yoursite – you can link to http://1000moms1000dollars.com/yoursite/splash/ (don’t forget the / on the end).
The first time visitors get to your site this way, they’ll have to enter their information. But when they come back again to http://1000moms1000dollars.com/yoursite they won’t need to enter it. Just would be a pain if they had to enter it every time : )
But it’s up to you as to how you’d like to use it. Visit your own splash page today, fill out the form and see what happen. Be sure you have prospect@…. (you know the rest) on your safe list so the emails will not get stuck in a junk folder.
